WWRB's Rate Card

Radio Station WWRB does not use radio brokers or advertising agencies, allowing us to deal directly with our broadcasters so we do not have to "inflate" our rates to cover advertising agencies/radio brokers' costly commissions. We do not employ gimmicks such as ramp-up rates--starting off low to entice you to sign a contract that will eventually force you to pay substantially inflated rates.

Commercial broadcasters on WWRB are required to sign WWRB's standard broadcasting contract. For more information, an overview of Radio Station WWRB's commercial broadcasting policies can be downloaded here (pdf file).

Radio Station WWRB is a supporter of freedom of speech, providing all broadcasters, regardless of religion, race, or creed with equal access to millions of listeners around the world via shortwave radio. For cost-conscious clients who desire more economical leasing of large segments of airtime, a volume discount is made available for bulk rental of transmitters. The cost to lease a transmitter 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for your organization is $25,000 per month, a savings of up to $24,000 monthly. You provide the program audio via telephone feed, internet, or satellite and we provide the rest. Call our Frequency Coordinators after 8 PM eastern time at (931) 728-6087 to plan your radio program or reserve a transmitter.

There is no need for expensive recorders or costly equipment; we simplify the entire process to three easy steps.

  1. Contact our Frequency Coordinators after 8 PM eastern time at (931) 728-6087 to plan your radio program.
  2. Record your program to a cassette tape. Please don't use the cassette recorder's built-in microphone, as it will pick up noise from the cassette recorder's motor. If you would prefer to send in your program on compact disc, we accept CDs recorded in the Red Book audio standard format.
  3. Send your program cassette tape/CD and program payment to Radio Station WWRB. Our staff is more than happy to answer whatever questions you may have, or provide suggestions and guidance for your broadcasts. For more information, call us after 8:00 PM eastern time at (931) 728-6087.

The base minimum setup to air with us is a telephone and your voice. If you prefer not to broadcast live, all that is needed is a cassette or CD recorder. More advanced options for program delivery are also available, including internet streaming, MP3 CDs, DAT, cart, and satellite are available.
